Building Community, One Yard at a Time
At Cascade Proscape, we often talk about "curb appeal" and "property value," but the truth is, a safe and well-maintained home means much more than that. It means peace of mind.
We started this business to serve our community, and we believe that service shouldn't stop at the invoice. That is why we are incredibly proud to officially introduce our Help Our Neighbors Initiative—a program dedicated to providing free landscaping and yard care to those in the Northern Cascades who need it most.
Our Mission: Serving Those Who Served (and those in need)
We know that for many, yard work is just a chore. But for others, it can be an overwhelming burden. Overgrown grass, fallen branches, and cluttered walkways can become safety hazards, especially for those with limited mobility.
Our initiative focuses on helping three key groups in our community:
Veterans: To honor those who have sacrificed for our country.
The Elderly: To ensure our senior neighbors can age safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Neighbors in Crisis: Life happens fast. Whether it's recovering from a heart attack, a car accident, or grieving the loss of a family member, the last thing someone should worry about during a tragedy is mowing the lawn.
How It Works
We have created a simple nomination system. If you know a veteran, a disabled neighbor, or someone in Whatcom County going through a tough time, you can nominate them directly on our website.
Once selected, our professional crew will come out and take care of their essential yard needs—lawn care, cleanups, gardening, and tree maintenance—completely free of charge to the recipient.
Why We Need Your Help (Transparency)
We often get asked, "How can you afford to do this for free?" The honest answer is: We can't do it alone.
While our hearts are willing, our equipment requires fuel, and our hardworking crew needs to support their own families. This is where you come in.
We have set up a donation fund to cover the operational costs of these projects. 100% of your donations go directly toward fueling the trucks and paying the crew hours dedicated to these charity projects.
$10 might cover the fuel for a string trimmer.
$50 helps cover a crew member's time.
Every dollar helps us say "Yes" to one more neighbor in need.
Join Us in Giving Back
We invite you to be a part of this mission. You don't need to lift a shovel to help; you just need to care.
1. Nominate a Neighbor: Do you know someone struggling? Fill out the nomination form here.
2. Donate: If you are able, please consider contributing to the fund on our initiative page. 3. Share: Spread the word. The more people who know, the more neighbors we can help.
Let’s take care of each other, Whatcom County.
